Philips Zoom Whitespeed LED light
An in-office procedure using our advanced technology LED light combined with 25% hydrogen peroxide gel to achieve results of up to 8 shades whiter in as little as 45 minutes chair time (excludes prep time)
A full Zoom Whitespeed procedure consists of 3-4 x 15 minutes in the chair, plus customised whitening trays and a home kit.
Some practices will include cleaning and take-home maintenance products to enable you to keep your teeth looking their whitest in as little as 30 minutes at home once a month. Prices start from R5500 and will increase depending on what the practice has included in your treatment.
The Zoom Whitespeed LED light and 25% hydrogen peroxide gel can also be used for easy touch-ups of 15 minutes after cleanings, especially if you haven’t been so good with your homework! Each treatment is customised to suit the patient and their staining, so whilst some may need 1 x 15 minutes, others may need 2 or 3 x 15 minutes in the chair, meaning prices will vary for each case.

Day White
The 14% hydrogen peroxide gel can be placed in trays and worn for just 15 minutes, and is ideal for maintenance only, so ideally only after the whitening endpoint has been achieved and your clinician has put you onto your maintenance program of either 15 or 30 minutes once a month.
Nite White
It is however ideal for more stubborn staining such as:
– Antibiotic stained teeth
– Non-Vital teeth (due to eg trauma)
– Extremely/ unusually dark or grey, brown staining
Expect to pay from R2500 and up for professional take-home bleaching options. All our take-home gels, as well as our Zoom Whitespeed 25% HP gel contain either hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide as well as: Amorphous calcium phosphate (reminerlises teeth, restores luster, reduces fall back) Sodium Fluoride (remineralises and desensitises) Potassium Nitrate (desensitises).
Zoom Whitening gels
All gels contain amorphous calcium phosphate, sodium fluoride and potassium nitrate to help remineralize and desensitize the teeth during the bleaching process. The active bleaching ingredient for in office whitening gel is always hydrogen peroxide, where the take home ampoules may contain either hydrogen or carbamide peroxide. Our bleaching products are only dispensed through qualified and trained dental clinicians, ensuring the best professional advice and results every time.
We always advise patients to combine all bleaching options with professional and customized trays to increase the longevity of the bleaching result, and enable easy maintenance in as little as 30 minutes per month at home.
