Booking and Pricing
ZOOM! Whitening is a supplier of Professional Bleaching / Whitening products, namely Philips ZOOM!, to dental practices. Whilst we can offer recommended prices, practices may charge their own rates. Expect to pay anything from R2,500–R7,000 for the various bleaching options. These prices range from the professional take-home whitening options with customised whitening trays and gel, to the full ZOOM! in-chair option.
Full in-chair bleaching package
Some practices include a cleaning, while others may include a checkup for example and others include customised take-home trays and gel for maintenance. The trays are an essential part of your treatment. They ensure your colour holds and enable you to do monthly maintenance to keep those teeth looking their whitest for years. Some practices send these off to a lab, so there is a fee attached, but make sure you get these included in your quote when you make your booking.
It’s always advisable to have a cleaning and checkup before starting on your whitening journey to ensure your gums and teeth and healthy. This way you decrease the chance of injury to the gums and possible pain during the treatment process if you are for eg bleaching where there is a cavity. Your oral health always comes first!
Lie Back and Relax
Different options are available to help you pass the time while you are lying back in the chair and having your teeth whitened.
Some practices offer Netflix or DStv, others play music, or bring your own headphones if you prefer to listen to your own music or a podcast. Then, close your eyes and relax!
There is no need to be worried about feeling claustrophobic. The ZOOM! Whitespeed LED light is small and can easily be moved away from in front of you.
The best is to close your eyes and listen to something you find soothing, and before you know it the procedure will be over and you’ll have beautiful white teeth!

Maintain your Smile
Many of our practices can help you to maintain your colour at home for years to come.
Some patients opt for in-chair touch-ups during every second oral hygiene visit (about once per year). These touch-ups are either 1 x 15 minute session or 2 x 15 minute sessions.
Take-home bleaching / whitening syringes can be bought from the practice where you had your ZOOM! treatment. If they don’t have stock please feel free to contact our office so we can supply you with the syringes.
